CCTV/Cambridge Day Candidate Conversation
CCTV and the Cambridge Day sponsored a conversation between candidates. The focus was to get to know the candidate rather then discuss issues. Candidates were divided into two discussion groups moderated by Marc Levy and Niko Emak of the Cambridge Day. My session included Marc McGovern, Cathy Zusy, Robert Winters, and Ayesha Wilson. Garden Street Bike Lane Analysis Update
Cycling became substantially more dangerous in the Garden Street vicinity since the November 2022 re-configuration to one-way to accommodate bike lanes.
Cambridge Day: How to vote in Cambridge
Suzanne Blier wrote an excellent article in the Cambridge Day explaining our ranked-choice voting system in Cambridge. The bottom line is that new candidates need high-ranking votes, preferably #1, to last into later rounds of the counting process to get elected. If you want to change our City Council, put the new candidates in the top slots followed by incumbents.
